Data Analyst
Bordeaux (FR) | Permanent contract (CDI) | Full-time | Site-based
We're excited to be recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our Data team in Bordeaux.
Reporting to the Head of Data, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support business decision-making across the Group. Working closely with stakeholders from commercial, marketing, product, finance and operations teams, you will help drive business performance through reporting, analysis and data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Insights
- Analyse business performance and investigate key business questions across multiple functions
- Identify relevant data sources and perform in-depth analyses to uncover actionable insights
- Translate complex findings into clear recommendations that support decision-making
- Present insights and business performance updates to stakeholders
- Proactively identify opportunities for optimisation, growth and operational improvement
Dashboards & Reporting
- Develop, maintain and enhance dashboards and reporting solutions
- Support business teams with KPI reporting and performance monitoring
- Ensure reporting remains accurate, relevant and scalable
- Promote the adoption and effective use of BI tools across the business
Data Quality & Governance
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of business data
- Apply rigorous quality checks to analyses and reporting outputs
- Promote reporting standards and best practices across the organisation
- Support master data management processes where required
Projects & Business Support
- Deliver cross-functional analytics and reporting projects
- Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and priorities
- Support business users in maximising the value of data and reporting tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
Acquisition Integration & Continuous Improvement
- Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into Group reporting processes
- Maintain reporting documentation and data standards
- Identify opportunities for automation and reporting efficiencies
- Contribute to building a strong data-driven culture across the organisation
About you
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Business Analyst role
- Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering reliable and trustworthy reporting
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
- Experience within FMCG, Retail or E-commerce would be beneficial
- Knowledge of GCP / BigQuery and statistical analysis techniques would be an advantage
- Degree in Data, Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline would be beneficial
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
Fluent French is required; English would be an advantage as you will collaborate with colleagues across the wider Group
