ENTER THE GAME 

As a product owner, you will report to the Head of Product within the Sports Betting product team.

As such, you will be a key player in defining and implementing the product strategy for Betclic's sports betting group, both in France and internationally (Portugal, Poland, etc.). Your main mission will be the development of trading tools.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 

In this role, your main missions will be: 

  • Contribute to the overall Sports Betting product strategy and identify projects to develop trading tools for managing the best betting and odds offerings.
  • Gather user needs, identify friction points, and work on discovery and estimations of new projects each quarter.
  • Write user stories while ensuring compliance rules, follow their execution, and validate them within the given deadlines.
  • Prioritize the backlog, plan, coordinate sprints, and ensure good scrum/agile practices within your squad.
  • Ensure product quality, documentation, and adherence to internal best practices, and perform functional analyses in case of incidents.
  • Monitor the performance of KPIs defined in advance with the Head of Product, and ensure the implementation of A/B tests and tracking, as well as their insights with the Data Science department in a continuous improvement logic of our product.
  • Collaborate daily with IT departments (especially the ITPM of your squad with whom you form a duo), Design (UX/UI), Data, Marketing, Customer Service, and Compliance, as well as all squads of other products.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm! 

This job is for you if: 

  • You have a background in Engineering/Business School with a Master's degree (BAC+5) or equivalent.
  • You have at least 5 years of significant experience in a similar role as a Product Owner, preferably in a B2C mobile-first company (e-commerce, mobile gaming, French tech, etc.).
  • You are highly proficient in agile methodologies, regularly train yourself, and know how to apply what you learn to your team's context.
  • You are known for your initiative and eagerness to learn, you enjoy working only in a team, you are product/customer-oriented, and have a strong UX/UI sensitivity. 
  • You are perfectly comfortable with both front-end and back-end topics and are a driving force on cross-functional 'tech' topics, which also create value for the end customer.
  • You are passionate and regularly follow professional sports competitions, and you can explain to your grandmother what sports betting is :)
  • And finally, you speak English fluently .

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, PIerre will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning). 

Next, you will meet your future manager, followed by Clémence - Lead product Ops. Finally, Pierre will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together. 

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
