ENTER THE GAME
As part of the creation of the Customer Intelligence & Trust department, you will play a key role in shaping Betclic's strategic edge.
Your mission is to deliver decisive customer and competitive insights that guide product, marketing and business decisions at scale.
You will be the first hire in this team, with the opportunity to build and structure the function over time.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
In this role, your main missions will be:
- Shape Betclic's competitive edge by analyzing market dynamics, competitors' strategies, and industry best practices across geographies
- Lead market research initiatives (quantitative and qualitative) to identify key drivers of customer preference and value
- Develop a “Glocal” vision by combining global strategy with deep local market insights
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations for Product, Marketing, and Business teams
- Build a centralized customer knowledge framework, consolidating insights from multiple sources (Data, CRM, UX Research, Customer Service, etc.)
- Drive customer-centric decision-making culture across the organization (“Be the Player” mindset)
- Present high-impact insights to senior leadership (COMEX level) and influence strategic roadmaps
- Structure and grow the Customer Intelligence function, with initial team building planned in the coming years
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm !
This job is for you if:
- You have significant experience in market research, customer insights, or strategy roles (agency or in-house)
- You combine strong analytical skills with business acumen, going beyond data to drive actionable insights
- You have experience with quantitative studies (survey design, interpretation) and understand research methodologies
- You are comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments (Product, Marketing, Data, etc.)
- You are able to influence senior stakeholders through strong storytelling and communication skills
- You are both strategic and hands-on, capable of building a function from scratch
- Experience in tech, gaming, entertainment or digital platforms is a strong plus
- A background combining research agency experience and in-house strategic roles, bridging strong analytical rigor with business impact, is highly valued
- Fluent French (spoken and written) is required
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?
If your application is shortlisted, Elliot will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
Next, you will meet Audrey, Customer Intelligence & Trust Director, your future manager, followed by Manon Head of User Research, Frédéric Head of Product and Paul Director of Growth.
You will then complete a business case designed to assess your analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Finally, Elliot will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.
The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
