We are looking for ambitious and creative minds to push the boundaries of Data Science at Betclic.

Our Data team has already reached a high level of maturity: dozens of models and solutions are running live in production, powering our application and shaping decisions across every department of the company. This is your chance to join a team where Data is not a side support, but a real game changer at the heart of our product.

You will be part of a squad of 9 passionate Data Scientists, working closely with Data Engineers, Product Owners, Data Analysts and MLOps experts. Together, we build, scale and maintain cutting-edge data products that directly impact millions of users.

YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC

As a Senior Data Scientist at Betclic, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our products and customer experience. Your missions will include:

• Designing and developing high-impact data products (recommendation systems, marketing optimization, fraud detection, responsible gaming... and more).
• Partnering directly with business leaders and product teams to transform data into smarter decisions and better user experiences.
• Challenging and improving our technical stack, modeling approaches, and deployment practices to keep us at the cutting edge.
• Acting as a mentor and coach to junior teammates, helping them grow while elevating the whole team's standards.
• Being a technical reference in modeling and engineering , pushing innovation from prototype to large-scale production.
• Owning your models end-to-end: from idea to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

First and foremost: a curious, passionate mind who loves Data as much as teamwork - with a touch of humor, respect, and kindness.

This role is for you if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in a B2C or B2B environment.
• Are able to tell a story with data and make complex models accessible to business stakeholders.
• Master Python (mandatory) and have strong skills in at least one OOP language.
• Are comfortable working with large-scale data (SQL, Spark, or equivalent).
• Have experience with production-grade pipelines (Docker, Airflow, dbt, Datadog...).
• Already worked in a Cloud environment (AWS is a big plus).
• Thrive in an agile, collaborative setup where impact matters.
• (Bonus) Knowledge of the gaming/betting industry is appreciated, but not required.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

• If your application is selected, you will be contacted by Joe within a week for an HR prequalification (30 minutes)
• We will then ask you to complete the AssessFirst Test (personality, motivations, and reasoning)
• You will then meet Bertrand - Head of Data Science, your future manager
• After that, you will prepare a Use Case and present it to two Senior Data Scientists
• Then you meet Iouri - Chief Data Officer
• Finally, Joe will receive you for a final HR interview, and you will take the opportunity to debrief your AssessFirst Test together.
