ENTER THE GAME
As a Senior Product Designer , you will join Betclic's Product Design team, a group of passionate designers working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to continuously improve the user experience across our Sports products.
This is a hands-on, mobile-first role, focused on solving complex UX problems in a high-traffic, real-time consumer environment.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
As a Senior Product Designer, you will work within one of our Sports product squads, depending on your background, strengths, and interests.
Two possible squads within the Sports domain
1⃣ Sport squad
This squad focuses on the core sports experience:
sports navigation and discovery
betting journeys and offers
match pages and live experiences
complex user flows, edge cases, and real-time constraints
using product data and insights to understand user behaviours, identify friction points, and inform design decisions
2⃣ Gamification squad
This squad focuses on engagement and retention mechanics:
gamification features
challenges, missions, and rewards
progression systems and engagement loops
playful experiences that make sports more interactive and engaging
The squad assignment will be discussed together, based on your profile and preferences.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In both squads, you will:
Design new features based on user research, analytics, and business objectives
Simplify and optimise complex user journeys while ensuring clarity and consistency
Take end-to-end ownership of the user experience on your scope
Collaborate very closely with Product Managers and Engineers within a product squad
Lead or contribute to UX workshops (discovery, ideation, testing)
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma
Contribute to and help evolve our design system
Stay up to date with UX/UI best practices, tools, and trends
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This role is for you if:
You have at least 8 years of experience as a Product Designer / Senior Product Designer
You have strong experience designing mobile-first B2C products
You are hands-on in Figma and enjoy staying close to the product
You are comfortable working on complex UX challenges (logic, flows, edge cases)
You are used to collaborating closely with PMs and Engineers in mature product teams
You have a strong interest in sports (you don't need to be a betting expert, but curiosity and affinity matter)
You have strong communication skills, a team spirit, and a high attention to detail
You speak French and English fluently
NICE TO HAVES
Depending on the squad, it's a plus if you have experience with:
Gamification, engagement, or retention mechanics
Sports, gaming, or mobile gaming products
Regulated consumer products
Design systems and scalable UI patterns
Data-informed design (analytics, experiments, funnels)
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?
If your application is shortlisted, our recruiter will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
About two weeks later, you will either take a technical test with one of our design experts or work on a case study to present to the team.
Next, you will meet your future manager, followed by a member of the Executive or Management Committee.
Finally, the recruiter will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.
The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
