ENTER THE GAME

As Chief of Staff to the CTO, you will work at the heart of Betclic's Technology Leadership Team, partnering closely with the CTO to strengthen decision-making, drive alignment and support the execution of key strategic priorities.


You will play a pivotal role in helping the Technology organization operate effectively at scale, ensuring that the right topics receive the right attention, that decisions are well prepared and that leadership teams remain focused on what matters most.

Acting as a trusted advisor and facilitator, you will work across strategy, governance, organizational effectiveness and cross-functional coordination, collaborating with senior leaders across the company.


This role offers unique exposure to executive decision-making and the opportunity to influence the evolution of one of Europe's leading technology organizations.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

Strengthen governance and leadership effectiveness

• Support the CTO in shaping and continuously improving the governance of the Technology organization 

• Prepare and coordinate leadership meetings, strategic reviews and decision-making forums 

• Ensure decisions, commitments and actions are effectively tracked and followed through 

• Identify blockers, dependencies and topics requiring executive attention 

• Help leadership teams focus on priorities, decisions and outcomes 

Support executive decision-making and prioritization

• Identify topics requiring alignment, decisions or arbitration 

• Gather and synthesize business, organizational and tech inputs 

• Structure options, assess trade-offs and formulate recommendations 

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment while ensuring key issues are surfaced and addressed 

• Support the CTO and leadership team in making informed and timely decisions 

Coordinate tech strategy and priorities

• Support the definition and execution of strategic technology priorities 

• Coordinate planning and review cycles across the Technology organization 

• Identify dependencies, risks and opportunities across teams 

• Help translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes 

• Contribute to the preparation of strategic discussions and executive reviews 

Foster collective leadership and organizational effectiveness

• Help the Technology Leadership Team operate as a high-performing collective 

• Facilitate collaboration across teams and domains 

• Support alignment on shared priorities and objectives 

• Contribute to a culture of accountability, transparency and pragmatic execution 

• Help improve ways of working and organizational effectiveness across the Technology organization 

Drive strategic and cross-functional topics

• Drive strategic topics requiring strong coordination across multiple stakeholders 

• Support the resolution of complex organizational or operational challenges 

• Maintain visibility on key priorities, risks and dependencies 

• Identify emerging issues and opportunities requiring leadership attention 

• Help the CTO focus attention where it can create the greatest impact 

WHO ARE W E LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm! 

This job is for you if: 

• You have 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, tech strategy & operations, business operations, transformation, governance or Chief of Staff roles 

• You have significant experience in complex tech environments and are comfortable working with senior tech leaders 

• You have demonstrated experience driving complex cross-functional topics and influencing without direct authority 

• You possess strong analytical and structuring skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics and support decision-making 

• You combine strategic thinking with a strong execution mindset 

• You are highly organized, proactive and comfortable navigating ambiguity 

• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

• You are fluent in English (professional level required) 

• You have a genuine interest in tech, innovation and organizational challenges 

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).


Next, you will meet the CTO, followed by members of the tech leadership.


Finally, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
