Stage Marketing Manager Assistant - Chinese Market

Internship Description

In this internship, you will work within Evil Empire's in-house marketing team and assist our Marketing Project Manager dedicated to the Chinese market. Possible projects include the triple-i initiative, Brotato, the Rogue Prince of Persia, and upcoming new projects.

$Your mission will include but is not limited to

• Strategy : assisting in all kinds of regional strategy planning, such as launch strategy, regional pricing strategy, communication strategy, influencer strategy, etc.
  
• Execution : assisting in regional campaign execution, including coordination with third-party agencies and freelancers, copywriting, sourcing & coordinating influencers, etc.
  
• Community : managing local community and social media (QQ groups / channels, Bilibili & Heybox). You will ensure all news is communicated effectively, and player feedback / bugs are reported to the dev team. If relevant, come up with plans for new social platforms.
  
• Global Team Support : when the global marketing team is busy, you'll jump in to help out with international tasks.
  
• Reporting to management and our potential partners and customers.
  

Candidate Profile

$You're the perfect fit for us if this sounds like you

• You are about to finish your studies in business school, communication school or equivalent university education and looking for a graduate internship.
  
• You like to play indie games, and you have a strong understanding of player expectations in the Chinese market.
  
• You are an active user of gaming-focused social media in China : you know the differences between platforms and how to engage with players on each.
  
• You are patient and good at communicating.
  
• You are able to handle multi-tasking efficiently, even under tight deadlines.
  
• Strong copywriting and spoken skills in Chinese (Mandarin) as you will have to produce content for and communicate with the Chinese gaming community.
  
• Able to communicate with colleagues in English for daily work.
  

$Bonus : (not necessary, we are ready to bring you into this industry)

• Experience in a similar internship or projects before.
  
• You are a roguelite player or a loyal audience of the triple-i initiative.
  
• You have basic knowledge of graphic design software (Photoshop) and video editing software (Capcut).
  

Additional Information

• Internship based at Bordeaux, full-time, onsite
  
• Duration : 6 months, starting from June 2026 (ideally)
  
• Contract type : internship agreement
  
• Gratification : up to €1,000 gross per month
  
• No crunch culture
