Experienced Accountant

We provide our customers with end-to-end services throughout their HRIS and Travel & Expense management projects from business requirements definition to the solution implementation. We also provide post go-live support and transfer of competencies to the teams in the different deployed countries. With our headquarters based in Paris (and a secondary French office in Bordeaux), we are also implemented in different countries in Europe, Africa and South America. We are thus able to support our clients all over the world, during and after the deployment of their HRIS projects. Arago is opening a new position for a full-time permanent Experienced Accountant, based in Bordeaux. This role offers the opportunity to help build an efficient finance function in an international environment. You will play a key role in setting up a new accounting system and helping to organize accounting processes across the group.

• Maintain general and subsidiary accounting in compliance with local and international standards.
• Participate in monthly and periodical closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany flows.
• Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system :
• Define accounting and reporting needs.
• Coordinate with project teams.
• Participate in testing and deployment phases.
• Ensure regulatory and accounting compliance in all jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and advisors.
• Actively support the structuring of accounting processes at an international level.

• Higher education in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in accounting, ideally within a group operating with international subsidiaries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting tools and prior exposure to ERP projects (experience with Sage is a plus).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – essential for communication with international teams.
• You’re known for your rigor, autonomy, analytical mindset, and a strong team spirit.
• You enjoy project-based work and contributing to transformation initiatives.
